About
This blog is designed to showcase my journey back home. I was born in Trinidad and Tobago where I spent may years before going abroad to the United States of America as a student. I left Trinidad and Tobago in 1989 on a student visa to read for a Masters of Science degree in Instructional Technology at the New York Institute of Technology after graduating from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus. I had just graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English and History; African History and Caribbean History. I was restless, and very thirsty for new and advanced knowledge, so when the opportunity availed itself to pursue higher learning in the United States, I took the opportunity. In December of 1988, I left home with ny daughter, Yvette-Michelle and accepted a position as a graduate student.
